Love, relationships, marriage, are fires. Often times we see marriage compared to building a home. I believe that this thinking is flawed because at some point, you can finish building a home. Marriage is a fire! It is a living, breathing, consuming thing and it needs to be fed in order for it to survive. A fire will die if it doesn't have fuel. So will a marriage.
